The technology for building hybrids today is a lot more expensive. You may be saving money in the long run but a hybrid car may cost you because of the technology.

There are other alternatives to hybrid cars. If you are just looking for a car with better mileage, look for an electric powered car. Just make sure you are near to a charging station all the time because it will require a special equipment to “fill it up”.

Electric cars will never emit smoke and does not even have a sound when operating them. For now, hybrid cars is only useful if you want to tell people that you are now considering a green lifestyle while convincing others to do so. The prices of hybrids are still expensive which makes the hybrid car for an average earner almost impractical.
