There are still ways on how you can save even though you are spending your entire salary to your monthly spending. Instead of thinking big in saving money, consider going small. Your monthly spending could actually be trimmed a little bit. Through those small savings everyday, you will eventually have a decent savings at the end of the month.
The following are the small things where you can find again. It only needs patience but once you see the results at the end of the month, you will be encouraged.
• Transportation - Every you spend a good amount of money for transportation through fuel, repairs and maintenance of your car. Consider car pooling with your friends. If you car pool 50% of your weekly transportation, you are also saving 50% in your weekly spending on your car maintenance and almost everything else related to transportation.
You might even slash a good amount of money from your after work spending since you go straight to home. Not only you will be saving a bit but you are also helping your friends save.
• Lunch - Eating out seemed like a viable option if you are working but it is always a known fact that you can save a lot if you just bring lunch at the office. All you need to consider is that you need to wake up a little bit earlier so that you can prepare for breakfast as well as lunch. You might also have something healthier and not to mention cleaner since you know how the food was cooked and how was it handled.
• Appliances/Electricity - Everyday you use electricity and will never be able to function properly without it. But that does not mean you have to use electricity in excess. There are money saving measures that you can follow to significantly cut off your bills every month.
Change your light bulbs into CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) and purchase only appliances with an energy star label. These are devices that can significantly reduce your spending on electricity. Also remember to follow the basics - switch off everything when done and only use them when necessary.
