As an employee, there is a big chance that you will be terminated since the company are not able to pay for your services. But that could be averted if you work harder and show your role in your company and even in the industry.

A stable and an assured job security do not mean you will be able to survive the challenges of the economy. Inflation will still affect your finances fast that you are no longer able to pay for certain services even with your present salary.

Recession should teach you to live a simple life. You do not need to have hundreds of channels in your TV or an expensive phone. There are things that you can have for a lesser fee or price and it will provide the certain services that you need.
For example, regular or free channels are more than enough as your daily entertainment and a mobile phone that can send/receive text messages or phone calls should be more than enough for you.

Another lesson that you learn during recession is on how you can place your actions and decisions in the right perspective.
Instead of being impulsive in your spending habits and financial decisions, you stop and think it over since you need to make sure that your investment will be worth it. During recession, you don’t want to spend your hard earned cash for nothing.
