Recession TipsHow to Attain Financial Stability During Recession
People make use of innovative methods to survive the current economic challenges. On one hand, you could start a business wherein you cater to small number of people but could become highly profitable based on your unique product or service. On the other hand, the old trick of proving yourself as highly valuable employee could bring you to greater heights in terms of your career.

If you concentrate in either one of these, you will be able to address the problems of recession. Before you know it, recession is over and you are still gaining something because of your dedication to business or work.
However, there are certain loopholes in these plans. If you are pursuing a business plan, the time of implementation to the time you can post a profit for the first time could be too long. By the time you post your first profit, recession might be over and your competition is back on track.
If you consider concentrating in a career, the recognition that you could enjoy will never yield any additional financial reward. When it comes to promotion, companies are usually hesitant to promote their employees not because they are not worthy but this entails additional expenses which they cannot support for now.
Fixing the Loophole
Since each of the possible scenarios where you can earn has distinct disadvantages, you may have to do them at the same time. While establishing your business, you may want to consider working so that you can support at least part of your lifestyle while paying the bills and supporting your business.
However, a full time job with a business is never a good idea. While some were able to do it, concentrating in your career while having a business in mind could be a lot difficult. Besides, there is always a “conflict of interest” that you might run into. Instead of improving your business and career, you just double your problem because you might be terminated from your job while having a bad reputation for your business.
Instead of concentrating on a full time job, why not consider being a temporary employee first? Consider the following advantages:
• Less Time at Work – when you opt to be a temporary employee you can always specify that you only want to work part time. This will not only give you time for your business, but you are practically earning something that could support your business until it improves.
• Ease of Responsibility – most, if not all temporary jobs are very easy. You do not handle large responsibilities such as sales, customer service or anything that would be instrumental to the company’s success. Your responsibilities will mostly be running small office based errands for different employees. Because of the ease of responsibility, you will not feel any pressure to become productive. After work, you can go back to your small business like nothing has happened.
• Availability of Work – unlike regular work wherein you have to compete for a position, temporary jobs are practically everywhere. You can sign up with a temporary job agency and be assigned to work for a specific company according to your preferences.
Of course, they may not provide you with a job fast if you are very selective but there will always be job available for you. If you live in a large city, the chances of getting hired to your preferred type of job and time are better.
