Getting Out of Your Financial Problem

Love makes the world go round…but money is the one that fuels it. Whether we like it or not, everything goes down to what you have and you don’t have. People can stand with almost nothing and rely on their love with each other but that will only stay for a few months or rarely years. Eventually, you will need money to go through the day. I have to say love will always find a way but money will be your guide and vehicle.

Don’t get me wrong, we’re not aiming to hog all the money in the world. We’re just looking to get out of our financial slump and prevent it from happening again.

Personally, the only way of getting out of our financial burden is to work on wealth building. Some say the term “wealth building” is a scam since you have to sign up for newsletters and buy electronic books on how to start a business. Part of it is right. Unfortunately, the term has been stained with various scams as some online ventures are aimed in letting people buy their e-book. If you’re reading this now before buying anything, you’re in luck because what you’ll read in those books will be written here.

Wealth building is all about discipline. That’s no secret and everyone knows it. When you have discipline, you get to control EVERYTHING about your life. That includes money. Every time you shell out something out of your pocket, you have already thought about it and the conditions have already been considered. When wealth building websites and articles claims they have the secret to wealth building when all they have to say to you is to have the proper discipline in spending money.

Now that you know what trait that you should have for wealth building, we move on to the more specific steps to ensure that you can get what you need or want in life.

The first step in wealth building is to know what you want. Your initial answer maybe “I want to be rich”. That’s right but that answer will get you to nowhere. You have to be more specific. How rich do you want to be? You don’t just set a very vague goal to catch. You’ll end up doing lots of things without any goal in sight. Be sure to be very specific with your goals. Be sure to write down the numbers and use them as your goal. But don’t just write any numbers there. Consider your situation today and project to double or at least increase your current account by 50% or more. That’s the lowest target you could give to yourself. Plan to get more but be specific with what you want in life.

The second step is to write the course of action. This is where reality sinks in. If you want to reach your goal, what are the things that you should do to attain them? Your ultimate goal might be very big and it would take years or even decades to attain it. Here’s a formula that I learned which has helped me a lot about my goals. The biggest goal should be divided into two or three smaller goals.

Usually, the smaller goals that support the ultimate goal are the behaviors expected to reach these goals. After that, support these two goals with two goals each, making it four goals. In this part, you are already dealing with actual actions or situations. If possible divide it further down the line. In the end, you’ll be writing yourself an action plan that looked like a pyramid.

I personally call this the Pyramid Line. In each action of the pyramid line, include a time frame on when you’ll be able to accomplish this. This way, you’ll have a good idea on when you’ll reach your goal and make possible adjustments.

When everything is written on paper, it’s time to put them into action. There’s nothing much to say about this except that the disciple that we have talked about should be emphasized. This trait is very difficult to achieve but when you are convinced to get what you want, you will stick to your plan knowing that the ultimate goal is just around the corner.

The ultimate plan in achieving financial freedom will never be paved by anyone for you. You have to create your own plan to get achieve this type of goal. It’s only you who knows which way to go and what ventures to work on. People might dictate something for you but the ultimate decision always rests on you and what you are convinced to do. With discipline and a detailed plan, you’ll always have something to work on. Financial freedom is not an easy task but discipline and a plan will make things easier.
